Step 1
AgeJET converts medical-grade nitrogen gas into nitrogen plasma to stimulate the natural cell regeneration processes of neocollagenesis and elastogenesis with no ablation.
Step 2
It channels plasma thermal energy through controlled pulses that quickly heat the skin tissue to between 65°C and 165°C.
Step 3
The thermal energy is conducted via water in the tissue to the deep layers of the skin while purging the oxygen from the treatment area to avoid vaporization of the epidermis. The non-fractional energy uniformly treats the entire dermal architecture.
Step 4

HOW LONG IS AN AVERAGE TREATMENT?
An average treatment is approximately 25 minutes. Treatment times may vary if you're targeting specific areas.
IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
Most patients find AgeJET treatments very tolerable. You may feel a mild warming or tingling sensation as the nitrogen plasma energy is delivered to the skin. The treatment is designed to be gentle, and no anesthesia is typically required. Your provider will ensure your comfort throughout the procedure.
WHAT WILL MY SKIN LOOK LIKE?
Depending on the intensity of the treatment you receive, the outer layer of the skin may eventually peel or flake. Your provider will tell you when/if you should expect to see this happen.
WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER THE TREATMENT?
Your treated skin may feel warm like a sunburn for up to an hour. Prior to leaving the physician's office, a layer of hyaluronic acid will be applied to your treated skin, and you will be given a gentle cleanser and moisturizer. Treated skin will be fragile so treat it gently. Your skin will be pink to red, it is important not to pick at your skin during the healing process. Keep it moist and hydrated with hyaluronic acid and a gentle moisturizer throughout the process.
WHAT DOWNTIME SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THE TREATMENT?
There is no significant downtime with AgeJET. Light erythema, or redness, is expected after the treatment and should subside within 3 days. Some patients have reported flaking of the skin or dryness; however, this is dependent upon the intensity of the treatment.
